About the Role
As an AI Data Privacy and Compliance Officer at Orcawise, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our AI-driven projects uphold the highest standards of data protection and legal compliance. Your role is critical in integrating responsible AI practices into our operations, thereby safeguarding our innovations and customer trust. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing data privacy strategies tailored for AI technologies, ensuring alignment with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborating with AI developers and data scientists to embed privacy-by-design principles in all AI models and applications.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for AI initiatives, identifying potential compliance issues and recommending mitigations.

About You
To thrive in this innovative role, you should bring a unique blend of legal, technical, and ethical expertise, including:
- Master’s degree or higher in Law, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, with a specialization in data privacy and AI ethics.
- Demonstrated experience in data protection law, compliance, and the ethical implications of AI technologies.
- Proficiency in understanding and applying GDPR and other international data protection regulations in the context of AI and data science.
- Strong foundation in AI technologies and their applications, with an ability to bridge legal compliance with technical AI development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex data privacy challenges.
